Legal practitioner and retired public servant. She was born on the 1st of July, 1953. A native of Utuhugwu village, Adaukwu was educated at Anglican Girls Secondary School, Ogidi and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
She was Claims Officer, Unity Life Insurance Company; Assistant General Manager and later General Manager, Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), a position she held until retirement in 2006.
She is the legal adviser cum director, Aro News Publications Ltd. Adaukwu was President General, Ezinneoma Social Club; National Secretary and President, Soroptimist International etc.
She is blessed with children and grandchildren.
